SRX24375267: Genome sequencing of Xanthomonas campestris pv. raphani: strain XLS-10
1 OXFORD_NANOPORE (PromethION) run: 151,022 spots, 1.8G bases, 1.5Gb downloads

Design: High molecular weight DNA was extracted from overnight bacterial cultures grown in 1/10 TSB medium. A mulltiplexed library was made with the PromethION 1D Genomic DNA by ligation SQK-LSK109 library prep kit, using early access protocol for kit NBD196. The enitire library was loaded on a FLO-PRO002 (R9.4.1 pore) flow cell, and sequenced on a PromethION P24. Basecalling was performed in real time PromethION compute module using package 20.06.18 using the high-accuracy basecalling model. All reads that have passed the quality filter (q>7) are provided in .fastq format.

In study, we sequenced the genomes of 94 strains of the plant pathogenic bacterium Xanthomonas campestris. We aimed to understand the genomic diversity of Xanthomonas campestris, understand the forces that drive evolution in Xanthomonas campestris, and to understand the genomic differences between pathovar raphani and pathovar campestris.
